Dwight James Mortensen
Dwight “James” Mortensen started his career in graphic design as well as business management before heading to a career in residential real estate. In 2002, James became licensed in Washington, DC, Maryland & Virginia with a local brokerage called Long and Foster Realty. His career took off quickly helping clients find and/or sell their home and would continually get them to a successful settlement. After 7 years with Long and Foster, he decided to take his career further as a realtor and start a real estate team with a business partner, David Bediz, in the Coldwell Banker Brokerage office located in the Washington, DC area called Dupont.
With 11 years of real estate knowledge in the Washington, DC area, James decided to take his real estate experience to California. He got his California real estate in 2014 and started his practice in the Los Angeles area. He began his California career with the Keller Williams office located in the Hollywood Hills, and eventually found himself with the Morgan Real Estate Team. He was continuously drawn to the Coachella Valley area where he setup an art studio space in the magical desert community of Palm Springs. After many trips from LA to PS, he decided to reside in the area and is now lovingly part of the Palm Springs community. James found his real estate family with the Leaskou Partners where he continues to create happy clientele today.
